Terry Hughes (trryhghs) | 2 comments Today I will be reading:

Rosemary’s Baby by Ira Levin
A History of the Northern Ireland Labour Party by Aaron Edwards
The Woman in Black by Susan Hill
Building the Yellow Wall by Uli Hesse
Essays by George Orwell

In reality, I’ll probably finish two and, if lucky, make a start on a third. I’m mainly here for the snacks.

Terry Hughes (trryhghs) | 2 comments As the old saying goes, it’s never too late to post your Opening Event Survey:

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?

Belfast, Northern Ireland.

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?

Rosemary’s Baby by Ira Levin.

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?

Banana bread and bao buns.

4) Tell us a little something about yourself!

I object to being forced to choose between banana bread and bao buns.

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today?

I’m allowing the time of year (i.e. Halloween) to influence my choice of books (namely, Rosemary’s Baby and The Woman in Black).

Also, choose? I'd definitely have both the banana bread and bao buns!

Happy readathon!
