My budgie is chirping quietly to himself in the corner. He's my reading buddy!
No reading buddy for me, unless my husband decides to read for a while with me today.

I'm the Mom in Avid Reader's post. I love doing read-a-thons with her and Jedi, who moves between us for maximum cuddles.
I spent my first hour reading with my younger kids (well, I read - my youngest flipped through my TBR pile and my middle son made lego). My parents have taken them for a sleepover, so in hour 2 I played taxi driver to my oldest whilst listening to an audiobook. Now I'm alone.But we're on the cusp of adopting a rescue pup, Hamish, so by the next readathon I will have a furbaby to keep me company!
I have 3 cats. 2 of them, kitten age took this week :)

A cat and up to 4 dogs. Normally is is just two but with fostering two husky/shepherd mixes I will likely had at least 1 fur baby with me at any given time today.

I'm reading with my mom, who isn't up yet. And then my beautiful furbaby Jedi. He's a bichpoo, he's 10 yrs old and he loves to sleep by my feet while I read.
