"Okay, let's scratch the board game, I wanna know what you do know, about, this world." He blurted out bluntly.

"This world?" Kira asks. "Umm..." She knew she couldn't bluff her way out of this one. "It's round?" She says, stalling.
He found her innocence quite cute, he decided to drop it and make her feel comfortable. "Are you hungry?" He asks:
"No." Kira responds, relaxing slightly when he changed subjects. She didn't know why he did, but she was relieved just the same. "I ate at the café."
"K." He responds. He lays his head against his bed and stares in front of him. After sitting awkwardly for a few minutes his keeper walks into the room."Time for your friend to go home." She says. Turning back around she walks back to the first level.
"Umm..." Kira said. "Yeah. I'll go now." She didn't want to ask to stay with him. He'd already helped her so much already, save the money, which she was still suspicious about.
Chandlers looks to her "do you even have a place to stay?" He asks.
"No." Kira admitted after a moment of hesitation. She frowned for a moment, then tried to laugh it off. She stood up. "I'll be fine."
"Ha no." He says grabbing her hand pulling her down. "I'd prefer you stay anyways." He grins.
"You would?" Kira asks. Dang, people in the future are a lot nicer than people in the past. Most people that she knew wouldn't let some random girl off the streets stay the night with them. Well, with those particular circumstances, there might be a few that she knew, she amended. "Thanks."
Chandler grins and stands up, sticking his head out the door. "We have a guest bedroom down the hall." He begins to walk, expecting her to follow.
Kira waited for a moment, unsure whether or not he wanted her to follow. After a moment, she scrambled to her feet and walked after him.
He enters the room and waits for her sitting on the bed. As she walks in, he says. "So just, settle yourself in here for now I guess." He adjusts the pillow and stands up. "I'll be in my bedroom if you need anything, the bathrooms just down the hall." He grins and walks out, running his fingers along the wall as he walks to his room.
"Ok." Kira said, smiling at him. "Thank you." She walked to the bed, sitting down. She looked around, then down. She had the fleeting thought that they hadn't played a game, but quickly pushed the thought out of her mind. She lay down on top of the covers, staring at the ceiling.
Chandler walked into his room and quickly pulled off his shirt and pants. He pulls out a pair of pajama pants and puts them on, then slides under his covers. He turns his body towards the wall and closes his eyes.(Time skip?)
((Yup! And I have to go eat dinner real quick...))When Kira woke, she was in the same position as she was when she went to sleep. Her clothes were all wrinkly and she still had on her shoes. She sat up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.
Chandler woke up, the sheets of his bed sliding half way off. He began to sit up and started to stretch, letting out a big yawn.
Kira yawned, crawling out of the bed and standing up. She swayed slightly before walking out the door into the hallway. She wondered in Chandler was up yet. She stumbled down the hallway aimlessly, her mind still half asleep. She never was a morning person.((I just saw your other Caden and Haley thread... That's not going to get confusing at all...))
( I should of put Haley #2 xD )Chandler sat on the edge of his bed playing with his hair. He stared into space still on the verge of falling asleep, his stomach growling.
((Is the other one not supposed to be spelled Haylee though?))Kira found herself at the entrance of his room. She peeked in, trying to be quiet in case he was still asleep. Instead, she saw him sitting in the edge of his bed. "Hello." She said. Her voice sounded weird after sleeping, and she cleared it. "Good morning."
(( I honestly have no Idea ))He spoke with a low pitched morning voice and looked up, raising his eyebrows. "Oh, good morning." He stood up and began searching through his closet, looking for a shirt. "You hungry?" He asked.
"Yeah." Kira said. She became aware of her hunger, and she leaned against the door as she waited for him to find a shirt. "How long have you been up?" It couldn't have been for long, considering his voice and the fact he was still in his pjs.
"Maybe a few minutes." he pulled a light gray long sleeved t-shirt on. "You?" He asks looking into a mirror, noticing his horrid bed head.
"Not long. Only a minute or two." She informed him. She shifted a little bit, smiling slightly when she notices him looking in the mirror. You'd think that the girl would be the more self conscious one, but she was perfectly fine knowing her hair was a rat's nest.
"My god, look at me." He says, playing with his hair. He grabs a beanie and pulls it over his head. "Okay, my keeper usually leaves me some money down in the kitchen for the day, wanna get some breakfast and then, maybe get you some clothes?"
"What's wrong with my clothes?" She asked playfully. She was fully aware that she wouldn't fit in in this time period wearing clothes from the past.
"You wore those yesterday. Unless you brought some more clothes to wear." He said.
"Right." Of course, he had no clue that she was wearing clothes from the past. She reminded herself. He doesn't know. He mustn't know. "Nope, I did not."
"Okay, well let's get going." He almost steps out of his bedroom door as he notices he hasn't changed his pants. "Could you like, step out for just a minute." He asks her.
Kira looks at him blankly for a moment, then nodded quickly when she realized why. "Yeah, of course." She turned and walked into the hallway, shutting the door behind her.
Again he walks to his closer, he pulls down a pair of skinny jeans and quickly begins to pull them on, he opens the door and finishes buttoning them up. "Aight, I think we're ready." He says, trotting down the stairs.
"Yup! Let's go." Kira stood from where she had sat herself against the wall. She followed him down the stairs.
Chandler swiped the money from the counter and held open the front door, waiting for her.
Kira walked out the front door, squinting in the sudden sunlight. She took a few steps forward, then turned back to look at him. "So. Where to?"
"Let's go get something to eat at the cafe, I'm starving." He brushes past her ans begins walking towards the local cafe, his eyes adjusting to the morning sun.
"Sounds good to me." Kira said, gladly letting him take the lead. "And I have a question: How much, exact or approximate, was the American money worth that I gave you?" She honestly wasn't bothered too much about it, but it would stop her from feeling bad about him buying her stuff if it was worth a lot.
"A lot." he says, not knowing the exact amount himself.
"Ah." Kira said. Now she didn't feel quite so bad for invading his home last night and him buying her clothes now. "Alright."
"Ah, we're here." He said, turning the corner and facing the little cafe. He pushed the door pad and walked in, standing in line.
Kira walked in behind him, standing beside him in line. "How old are you?" She asked, trying to make conversation.
He turned his head and looked at her. "17." He said. Thoughts again started flashing through his mind. Is she older than me?! He convinced himself not to think of such a thing. She looked about his age anyways.
"Same." Kira said. Woah, how old was she really? She had to be at least 60 years old. She debated telling him that, grinning at he thought of how he would react.
He cleared his throat and they advanced in line, "What do you want?" He asked her, flipping through his money.
"Um, something edible?" Kira said, looking up at the menu. "How about the biscuits and gravy?"
"How about we do this." He cupped the money in her hand. "Order what you want." He said, grinning.
"Oh." Kira said, taking the money. She walks up to the mic, trying to remember how to order something. First: Say the order. "Biscuits and gravy and a glass of apple juice?" Next: Press the button and place the money down. She does this, then steps back to wait for the order to appear.
