SOLVED. Middle grade Book about a Mouse who repairs clocks [s]

Just because now that I'm thinking about this book I'll never be able to rest until I remember the name. I read this back in 2007-2010

I believe the main character was a mouse. The mouse worked at a clock shop where he repaired clocks. He has a pet ladybug! Something happens and he stumbles upon something shady?

Later on at some point I believe the lady bug gets kidnapped because the people he's investigating catch onto him.

is it Time Stops for No Mouse by Michael Hoeye? It features a mouse who fixes clocks and has a pet ladybug. I think this one is part of a series so it might be one of the others in the series
