Phillip is able to leave his body by astral projection, and Faith has ESP. But the twins' powers have gotten them into danger. Having special powers has always been handy--now it might save their lives.

Boy and girl twin are separated when their parents die, but remain connected thru their ESP powers. The boy can astral project and later learns to travel "as Soul." He is fostered by a very negative couple who think his abilities are evil. His uses his power to save the pretty girl at school from getting assaulted.
I forget what the sister's power is. They are waiting for their parent's friend, an adventurer and scuba diver, to come back and adopt them. I think she solved a crime too.
The title I think was something obvious, like Twin Spell or Double Trouble. It was in the same as another about a girl named Copper who goes to live with her aunt, who is a practicing Wiccan/witch.
