Katie | 2 comments I got this book from the ya section at my library around 2010. The cover definitely has a girl with black hair wearing a medieval green dress, she might have a bow and arrow, and there might be a raven or crow. I believe this girl ends up learning her mother was a witch, or the town thought her mother was a witch or something close to that. I vividly remember she ends up getting her period and doesn’t know what’s happening. There’s also a man that’s helping her/guiding her on her journey, and he’s very Strider/Aragorn-like.
