I was looking into how to get reviews for my first and most important book. Can and when can I post it here? And I was wondering if I could send a pdf copy of my book to whoever might want to review it? Thank you!
Hi Carole "Lisa Lynn",Good question. If your book is Christian nonfiction, the answer is yes! You can post under the Author Meet & Greet heading on the topic thread labeled Review Requests. You are welcome to offer to send a PDF to interested members in exchange for an honest review there. That thread is the best place to post as it remains on the first page where it will be more visible to our readers.
I'd suggest that you post this with your book cover and a few sentences about the book. You could also look for other authors offering the same thing there and check in with them about swapping reads with an eye toward reviewing.
All the best,
Susan
For Carole "Lisa Lynn" ... this article about getting reviews and blurbs just popped up on my feed. You may find it helpful. "How to Secure Early Endorsements (Blurbs) for Your Book"https://www.janefriedman.com/how-to-s...
Here's to your success,

Yes, thanks for sharing this Linda, I found it very helpful, and have added it to my list of "lessons for book publishing".
Thanks David
As for myself, I've been active in our local writing community and in social media for some time, encouraging other writers. When it became time to find reviewers, I was able to solicit several. I also reached out to authors who have an impressive following and write with similar themes to my own. I had just one response from that group, but it was worth the effort.
