I began to read this book last year, but it may be from earlier. I am fairly certain it is of the Nightmare Penitentiary/Paranormal prison series. About the powerful/dangerous god level beings on the top floor?
It starts with a girl -I think she had wings that got damaged- her family left her behind ... or went to leave her, she cursed them ... or something along those lines. Anyway, she found her way to a prison for the supernatural where she discovered she was owned by a group of men.
I'm pretty sure she ended up on the upper level of nightmare penitentiary, where people are owned and kept 'for their own safety'. Of course, I could be mistaken. Have been trying to find the book for a while but have had no luck.
