I really enjoyed the Amazon show (The Expanse) based on this series - much better than the book.I rated the book a little higher, but I was seeing the actors in my head which helped.

I have not seen the Amazon show and based on my response to the book, not likely to seek it out. I usually like Sci Fi, but more tech-based or artificial intelligence or exploration than anything supernatural.

oooh, ok, I know what to watch next!
I enjoyed the book tho mostly for the twists near the end, I think...

I can definitely see how people enjoy it. It's far from a bad book, just not my taste. You know whenever zombies appear, they are not going to disappear completely, lol.
So I've only read the first book, but I've watched the entire series (so far - one season still to come). Not much more in the way of zombies in the TV show - but very definitely some other really weird stuff every season.

I did not care much for this book so will keep my review short. I enjoyed the first half, the depth of the Sci Fi world-building, and the search across the galaxy for a missing woman. Then we meet the “vomit-zombies.” I was not prepared for this abrupt shift in focus. Vomit-zombies, or any zombies for that matter, are not my thing.
PBT Comments: If you like a combo of supernatural and SciFi you may like this book more than I did.
