I read this book at least a year ago but pretty sure it was published way earlier. The only scenes I remember are; close to the beginning of the book the M and F bump into each other in a school parking lot. The F is deaf and shouts at him in ASL and he understands a bit because he studies it for one of his classes
Another is later on where F is driving and feeling the heavy beats of mental music by placing her hand on the speaker
And the last I remember is F is in car with her younger sister and they get into an accident

Been looking for this book for ages. Any help in appreciated thank you!!!
