15 -- A Five-Syllable Title
Finished The Turn of the Screw for this prompt. I am also watching the 2021 retelling The Turning for Friday night movie night!
I've had the audiobook of Ready Player One by Ernest Cline downloaded for a while, fits in nicely here.
For this one, I read Station Eleven. It took me a while to get into it, but I ended up liking it a lot.
I read "Running for My Life: One Lost Boy's Journey from the Killing Fields of Sudan to the Olympic Games" by Lopez Lomong
I read "The Girl on the Train" by Paula Hawkins. My local library had a "Valentine's Blind Date" and this is the book I got to go on a date with... if any of y'all have read it, I thought you might find that funny.I enjoyed it quite a bit even though thrillers aren't usually my thing!

I am not much of a thriller reader but am enjoying it.
I read The Paper Palace I can't recommend it highly for all the triggers that are in the book. I will say that it was engaging and even though I didn't like the characters I was invested in them
Rachel Carson’s The Sense of Wonder - also meets prompt 19 (original title Help Your Child to Wonder). “Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.”
I had to use a counter for this one because I am not sure how to count syllables as english is not my first language. But 4 counters confirmed The Light Through the Leaves has 5 syllables and it also received 5 stars from me. I love this author
I read not one but two books with the same title! The Devil You Know (K J Parker)
and
The Devil You Know (Mike Carey)
both fantasy, but very different flavours of fantasy.
I read another cozy
Guidebook to Murder by Lynn Cahoon 2/1/22https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Just finished The Octopus Man by Jasper Gibson. Really loved it, given it four stars. I found the ending was a little flat compared to the rest of the book, but would recommend.

What is a syllable? A syllable is a part of a word. This segment of speech is also sometimes called a “beat.” Some words may only have one syllable, while others have many.
(Fun fact: Apparently “pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis” is the English word with the most syllables in it. 19 syllables in fact.)
