Lena | 364 comments Opening Survey!

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
The states

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
Hmmm...I think Open Water and Ring Shout.

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
I'm looking forward to the "Friday's" wings/potato skins. It's the frozen version.
I haven't been to a "Friday's" restaurant in years (they don't have one in my town).

4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I love books, Kombucha ,road trips, and long walks on the beach...lol

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what
are you most looking forward to?
Hmmm...I won't do the check in's each hour (in hopes to get more reading done). I'll check in just less often than
previously.

Lena | 364 comments Closing Survey!

How would you assess your reading overall? I'm 100% content with my progress.

Did you have a strategy, and if so, did you stick to it? I had a plan to read only novellas/short stories, reduce how often I checked in, drink caffeine from start to finish, sleep for as long as I deemed necessary. I feel like these changes aided my progress.

What was your favorite snack? BBQ Wings & Dairy Free Ranch & Iced espresso

Wanna volunteer for our next event? Stay tuned for the recap post! I may want to at least do some Co-Moderator slots next readathon...we'll see! :-)

I made some progress , but I hated having to miss the first 24
hours . . . I only completed 175 pages . 200 pages less of my usual readathon average . And I didn't finish any of the books I
started . Shucks . But I still got in on 24hours of the fun and there will be a next time . Thanks Readathoners . Thanks Lena : )

Susy, no we're not biological sisters. We're sisters in the sense that we are both women of color. In the community we often refer to one another as sis/sister as a term of endearment and connection. :-)
