Eh, I gotta admit I did not like this book. The characters annoyed me, and it was just not the Haunted house story I was hoping for it to be. I felt like the "fat phobia" was even worse in this one than it was when we read The Ritual. I felt bad for Daniel's character - he was treated like shit because of his weight and the fact that he wrote YA. Then he has has worst tragedy happen to him and becomes the "possed bad guy". I wanted to like Moore (listened to this on audio so hope I'm spelling the name right) as a representation of a strong female, but I just couldn't. Sam is okay-ish, I guess. Sabastian was the only likeable character for me.
