Don't accept until customer service tells you whether you can exchange. As long as you don't click on the downloadlink, your SS can forward the link to another friend, in case your request gets denied.

Because the gift card wasn't purchased by you, customer care can't do much. And generally, you can only buy e-books from your country's Amazon website. Would it be possible for the sender to take back the gift card and send you a new one from amazon.com?
Or as a work around, if you know someone in Canada, you could contact them to exchange it.
does amazon US have an email address? Can someone tell me what it is? The provided telephone numbers do'nt work.

If you have a foreign amazon account, you can add a US address from a friend to your own addresses, and this allows you to buy ebooks on amazon.com with a foreign account.
But first, I have to visit my happy place. Where no Amazon store excists.
I hope I did not just start the confusing discussions we had previous years. But I want to help everyone here with redeeming issues.
Can anyone help me with gifting for a Brazilian citizen? Amazon there doesn't have gift card option and sending them paperback requires some kind of tax identification. Book depository doesn't deliver there either. I tried Kobo gift card, but the transaction keeps failing.

I was just gifted a book, that the same person already gifted me, and I did report when they gifted me the first time in show me your gift… now what?

Was it on Amazon? Just click on something that says you want to exchange or return or something on the right side. I forget the exact wording, but it has happened to me multiple times.

This is just a goodreads in general question but has anyone else experienced a glitch with goodreads where all your friends are gone? Literally my entire friends list minus 10 people just completely disappeared. I'm so bummed! I'm hoping it comes back? Anyone experienced this before?

Even people I’ve been messaging for years and we’re very close. All my friends were suddenly gone :(
I am going to back up my friend list, just in case and also back up my Bookshelves. Who knows what's going to happen next? My account will disappear? Anything is possible with GRAamazon :(((
