Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
question
Harry Potter and The Cursed Child is bad. Agree/Disagree
The cursed child was okay. I didn't like how Harry dealt with his son and I don't believe love is blinding. I think if you truly love someone you'll see their faults and love them anyway. I also am not a fan of time travel in most books as it's an unspoken rule for a reason.
SO BAD! When I finished reading it, I really hoped it was better on stage than on paper, cause it was awful on paper.
It's alright. it wasn't horrible but it wasn't as great as the other books. i still think its better than the goblet of fire.

Seriously?!? The goblet of fire was an amazing book, one of the best!! The Cursed Child wasn't even written by J.K. Rowling.

Agreed. You’re exactly right Koray, it was like fan fiction. It was well written, to a point, but I refuse to accept it as canon.
Spoiler:
I absolutely LOVED the bond between Scorpius and Albus. There’s just something so poetically justifying about the children of two hated rivals growing up to become the most loving of friends. That was my only favorite part of the story.
Basically everything else about it was trash. I HATED how Harry was with his son. All of the characters were completely and totally out of character. But my most loathed part of the story was the idea of Voldemort having a secret “love child” with Bellatrix. The entire 7 book series was focused on the fact that Voldemort COULD NOT feel love and he’s going to have a secret love affair with one of his followers? Argue all you want that not all sex is lovemaking and that sex resulting in children doesn’t always involve love. I get that. The thing is, Voldemort was a man convinced that he was so superior to EVERYONE that the very idea of him participating in such an intimate act as sex with ANYONE would be beneath him. That was the most unbelievably out of character part that sealed the deal for me.
