No without Mario I don't think they would save Max. Mario has the clout to bring the other law enforcement teams in line. It was a good move, and gave us the opportunity to see how all of Max's men work together and a look at their differences.Where did I get Mario? I guess I was having a Playstation moment.

Despite his disdain for Marco, David was only concerned with doing whatever was needed to find and save Max. His SF training was in evidence here. Marco was essential in getting federal involvement quickly. They would have eventually been involved as part of normal protocols but not within this timeframe.

Mario Lopez could bring in the Feds and get them working on the missing persons case immediately. It was smart of David to call him and get him involved at the start.

David knew that to find Max and find her quickly he needed a heavy hitter like Mario Lopez. Mario was essential in getting everyone to take it seriously that Max was missing and in danger.

Marco had the connections. I would have taken longer without him and Max probably wouldn't have made it.
