SOLVED. YA - boy gets hit by a falling phone, which is now in his brain permanently. [s]

An iPhone is thrown from the top of a building and hits the main character. The phone cannot be removed from his brain so now he is able to use the internet, and receive messages and calls using the phone in his head.
I read this in 2010/2011 and remember a specific scene where the main character uses the phone to remove £/$1 from a bunch of people accounts to help his mother pay rent/a debt.
