This sounds like Richelle Meads books. She has two series set at boarding schools, Vampire Academy and Bloodlines. Both have elemental magic and a character named Adrian Ivashkov (an irreverent but brooding party boy) appears in both. Vampire Academy had more elemental magic in it but Adrian Ivashkov is a main character in Bloodlines.I don't know if any of the books were on Wattpad. Tried to paste the links to the first books here and couldn't. Seems to be a problem with the site because I could paste them elsewhere.
hi sorry for the late reply. Its definitely not the vampire academy books. and yes it was self published as I was looking at purchasing the rest of the books on the american sony ebook store that doesn't exist anymore

Ive been looking for this book a while now.
I've read the first book in the series on wattpad in 2013/14. The author was a women and had several (9?) Other books in the series published on the american sony ebook store. I remeber it was very high ranked on wattpad.
Plot: the story was set in a magical (elemental?) boarding school, main character was female and popular at the school and had a boyfriend. She also had a hate relationship with a male character who was very arrogant and nobody liked him (his name could have been adrian?). It was also hinted that the relationship could turn romantic in the future. There was also another villain type character that threatened the school.
The book ended with a scene in the FMC s bedroom together with the hate relationship guy and he says something like "now we're stuck with each other" due to a magical bond between them, that no ones should learn about.
I hope someone else remembers that book. Any pointers are highly appreciated!
