The Host because there is a few people who die in there but the moral of the story is that even though all is lost life and love go on plus it is such a good book

I had a friend pass away very recently and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good books dealing with the subject? I read TFIOS by John Green when my cousin died last year, as an example, but I can't think of any more. Suggestions would be great. Thank you :)
