I'm slowly finishing up with The Man Who Died Twice and then I think I'm gonna finish off the year with a re-read. Thinking Coraline

The only thing that should be read carefully are the dialogues.

If you feel like any scenes aren’t important, you can skip.

Skip pages of world building. You’ll get an idea later anyway.

Read only dialogues if you like. The rest, you need only key words.

If there any fight scenes, skip them
If there is anything describing something, skip them
If there’s any sort of ‘explanation’ scenes, skip them (you’ll get an idea later)

Note - all of the above only works for certain genres and should only be done if you’re only intrested in the story and not the book

I've been reading the book for almost a full week, that is usually my typical speed for a book of 400 pages. x.x I'm super slow, and I rarely read on weekends. I've been like that since I was younger, so I don't know how to progress my reading speed. I'd thought it would get quicker by now, but no..

I love the jobless job offer going on. I have plenty of useless facts to bring to the table.

Yup, my reading speed is suffering too.
I was able to complete one book per day before 😞.

Adding onto that fact: Dolphins are little druggies and keep pumping puffer fish with their noses so that the puffer fish bloats and stings the dolphin - they get high from the poison. There are studies were groups of "teenage" dolphins gang together and do this, then go off playing together...
