do more polls then check the results and you'll probably start getting a clearer idea of your audience's priorities and then you can start making more specific polls to challenge those priorities or their morality. I'd say try making more specific hypothetical situations but I feel like no matter what, there's always going to be a couple of smart asses trynna 'think outta the box'

I took a business class a few years ago (like 2 years ago) and most of the assignments and assessments we had to do involved giving detailed answers to questions in which there was no correct answer and it taught my entire class not to make any assumptions and to just stick with the case study you're given because it was either you do that or you fail. ah, good times.
