TART Challenge - Round 4 - Cornucopia of Readers (15)
I'm listening an audiobook that it qualifies (for real this time) and I'll finish it tonight or tomorrow morning.
So, while Nayara decides what she wants to do, here is your next task!Task 3 - 15. Read a minimum of 600 pages in books with an audio edition.
You do not need to listen to the audio, but an audio edition must be available for you book to work for this task! Please include a link to the audio edition in your completion post. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count.
Please note that this page requirement would need to change if Christina returns.

I like to do Selection Posts. This also allows me to just copy the comment when I finish reading and add the date.

since I was MIA for so many days and the team has already moved on to the 3rd task I'm not sure if I should go ahead and read task 2 book or not. I've started the 3rd task just a little while ago.

Just a heads up out of the first 5 or so books I was looking at in the Cherry Falls series they were all around 100 pages long. I was excited to see them available with KU....do you know if some later books in the series are 150 or more pages?

I can message her, and no worries. These things can't be helped.I'll look at the Cherry Falls series, but I think Busy Bean may be peoples first choice.

Thanks, Nayara! I thought so but then I saw Tink Magoo book had 600+ pages and thought, Oh maybe we all need to read 600+ pages. LOL
Can you imagine if we did?! I'm only reading this one as it's the last part of the series I've been reading :)
OK, just to keep things simple (or at least simpler):Christina, you do not need to read for Task 2, but do need to read a book for the current task (Task 3).
I will not change the requirement for Task 2. I have Nayara down as using her pass for that task.
The page requirement for the Task 3 will be 750 pages instead of 600. I will repost that task with the updated page count.

Christina, the first one was an okay read for me and I could not get into this one. To be fair, I think that I haven't be in the mood for this kind of romance for a while so it could be a me problem and not something about the book per se.

Christina hasn't checked in on this thread for 5 days, though it does appear she has updated her reading progress on her profile in the meanwhile. She hasn't posted her completion for the first task or acknowledged the second. She did respond to Tink's message on September 25 at approximately the same time she updated her reading progress last. She did not respond to my message. At this point, I have to consider her out of the challenge. If she does check in with any of you and does wish to continue, please have her message me.
Nayara's book for the last task did not qualify. I am going to assign the next task anyway (Task 3). She has the option to make up the book before I will assign the following task (Task 4). OR she has the option to take her pass for this round. Remember though that you can only use the pass ONCE PER ROUND.
I am offering Nayara the pass for the last task because if Christina is out of the challenge, then you should have only needed to complete 4 books, not 5. Since Tink read two books, the requirement of 4 has been met.
