This was an okay D/s book. It was kind of a Daddy story but I'd say more Daddy-lite. Aidan is famous and Ronan just showed up in Hollywood after his last boy stole all their money. Ronan ends up working for the security service Aidan hires to watch over him, after they've had a scene at a club, of course. It's hard to explain but the story was cute. Nothing overly sexy or angsty or memorable, really.

The best description of this book for me is "it was nice". And it was. Nothing overly dramatic, nothing overly angsty just a nice story of Finn and Harrison finding each other and making it work. Yes, of course they both had issues but they worked through them. Nice introduction to the series.

Ranch Manny

How it qualifies (from precis): Cowboy Brent has a ranch to run. three kids he inherited when his cousin passed away,
Date read: 10/12/21
5 stars

A real feel good book. The kids were cute and the secondary characters were well rounded. Only thing I didnt like is when Trace and Brent got it on, the started talking stupid to each other.

Cowboy Seeks Husband
Pages: 332
Qualification: Title
Read: 12 October
Rating: 3.5 stars
Review:
I was quite engaged for the first half of this book but then (view spoiler). I liked the concept (obviously since I bought it); it could have been really fun. All the contestants were surprisingly interesting. But it sort of just ground down for the last couple weeks of the show and lost part of its appeal (for me). In the end though, we get our HEA ~ of course :)

Narrated by John Solo. 4 stars - not too much of the high male voices.

Window Dressing by Jodi Payne Window Dressing by Jodi Payne

Qualifies: Precis- Sterling is just a cowboy from New Mexico...
Finished: 10/12 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Review:
Well, this sure was a little bit country... right smack dab in the middle of NYC!!! *grin*

I really enjoyed this one! Sterling was such a down-to-earth guy with morals to match... what more could a guy ask for? Jonas may have had a bad start, but that changed up pretty quick and yeah, love, at first sight, is real!

I was a bit worried that this would be all about the bull riding, but it ended up being all about the bull rider... which worked great for me! I will say that I was expecting this to be a Christmas story, and we did get a scene or two of that... but it was mostly a HEA New Years' Eve story, and wasn't that just a blast! This was a short, sweet read that just made you feel all warm inside!

We finally get Apollo's story in this book and it's a good one. His childhood bff and first crush starts working for the company and the shiz hits the fan. Ridge was supposed to marry Apollo's sister back in the day but left her at the alter and they haven't talked since. Boy is Apollo a stubborn ass. Thankfully Ridge was up for the challenge and wears the man down. Loved getting all the guys together and the warming lube joke...priceless! I'm going to miss these guys. Hope they visit in the next mechanics series. And the cute little vet better get his man in one of these books!!

Let me start by saying this was a totally entertaining read! But, and I can't believe I am saying this, because the sex scenes were really great... well-written and well-appreciated, so when I say there was just too much sex in this story... it pains me to say it! ;p

Yes, Cole and Ren are having rebound/one-time off sex to start with... and then the next thing you know they are going at it hot and heavy every Thursday night! Add in the whole M4M app where Rebound and CaulkyAF start on their own journey to true friendship and things get complicated real quick!

I look forward to seeing how things work out for the other 3 "bears"!

When I first started reading MM in 2013, the sex was all new to me and 'exciting' to read. As time has gone on I am now just as happy to read a book with little to no sex in it, especially when its a particularly good story. Sex sometimes seems gratitious and takes me out of the story

Fun book - particularly the (view spoiler) scene. And the MCs' personality are generally fun and light. MC Everett's 'coming out' hesitation was prolonged, and his avoidance was monumental - that was probably my biggest issue. But that's clearly outlined in the precis, so I can't really complain ;) And I DID really enjoy the story, so whatever... 😂

Narrated by Tim Paige and Liam DiCosimo - 5 stars.

My only complaint with this book was that it was overlong. I am sure 100 or more pages could have been cut as some parts were a little overlong and the fact that Rudy's ears were odd matched.
Apart from that I liked Dare and Stone together.

What I liked about the story?
The cover, for sure... the scenes with Ulric and Gage NOT having sex... which if the sex scenes had been removed, it would have made this book about half the length it is now... and the babies! Yep, that's about it... oh, and Gage's family! Curious to see if we will get more of Wilkie (can't decide if I love or hate this name) in the future!

A brand new series which looks like it going to be good.
I started reading this in the early hours of the morning after not being able to sleep and couldn't put it down.
A discovery of a mass grave brings Dakota back to his home town and back to the man who broke his heart.
The mystery was really good and as usual I didn't figure out the killer.
Can't wait for book 2.
