Review:
This is it. The last book of the Regent's Park Pack. And I'm honestly so sad that it's over. It's been a wild ride but I can honestly say that I've enjoyed every minute of it. Jacob's created such an interesting world of shifters. Everything from the pack politics to how they handled things like bonding was extremely well done.
Bitten by Fate is about Jason and Daryl. I have been waiting for Jason to get his HEA since we were first introduced to him, having had a soft spot for him ever since. And it didn't disappoint. The journey to the HEA was a wild ride filled with action, interesting task and even quite a bit of humor.
Brb, going to cry a little because there's no more books.

Review: Oh my god, I just loved this story. It was absolutely charming. What an interesting shifter world and such a cool persepective on the unusual romance between a polar bear shifter and a penguin shifter. Their traditions around mating and having kids were adorable.
Gustaf, I haven't read any books by that author before. I assume you would recommend her and I am going to add the first book to my tbr.Off to read my Bingo book now. I survived hosting my brother's 60th birthday party yesterday (may have drunk far too much), but we had over 30 people here and they all seemed to have a good time and enough to eat. Now I just have to put my house back together as we hid all the clutter to make room for everyone and now have to put it all back!

I really do recommend that series. It's amazing. And so hot! Especially the first book. My first book by Annabelle Jacobs was Not Just for Christmas which is very different from this series but equally good.
We also had a party yesterday and I've been very tired today. Thankfully Carlos is a cleaning freak so I didn't even have a chance to get started before he was done.
So we are just waiting for Dee but we can't get our new task until tomorrow any way. Just finished Scavenger hunt for the year!

I love this series. Creative world building, unique shifters. Going to cry when this series ends. This one we learn more about Sky and he finally finds the perfect love in Victor. This book still brought tears to my eyes, the ending was so emotional, yet ended with a ray of hope.

I waited hoping my book for the other challenge would work and it did!! One book two challenges.
The one I'm reading is for Author of the Month -- I am behind on them for sure. Still also working through the Group Member awards challenge.

Review: I really enjoyed this book! Jefferson was a grumpy FBI agent taking on his first major serial killer case and ran into the "one that got away" best friend from college who he was crazy about but alienated after one major fight and never saw again. I liked that I could find no real fault in the investigation of the murders (usually I can come up with many things they should have asked, or conclusions they should have drawn, or people they should have talked to), but this seemed to be pretty seamless to me and all made sense. Jefferson's interactions with Finney were also lovely and cumulative, and made me feel good. (and it was so nice to see a kick-ass woman for once -- his partner Caroline)
I'm almost done as well Diane and I feel pretty much the same.

This was such a good book, and for being a debut, it's actually quite spectacular. As per usual in mystery books the romance took the backseat for the mystery plot, I just hope there will be a series and not just a standalone so we can get to see the love story between Jefferson and Finny bloom.
