How to add this author’s name?

Hi… I asked a question over in Goodreads Help over a week ago but I don’t believe it was answered. A few months ago, I added “Ten Songs With No Music” by Jay Munly to the database - both the book and author were new.

This author published a new book, only I’m not sure how to add his ’new’ name.

On the book cover, it’s written as Munly J Munly 32nd°

The J should have a period next to it (his middle name is Jay). The 32nd° is a reference to his status as a Mason.

I looked up the rules in adding another name but it doesn’t really address this issue. What would be the proper way to write his name to be added?

We put the period after the initial and we do not include the degree. I have corrected it and added the cover from the publisher's site.
