No, I didn't pick up on that one either. It showed what a loving partner Damon really was truly putting Tina's well being before his own.
I bought into the whole thing and believed that Tina had attacked Damon. I was very surprised when he said he wanted to press charges. It never dawned on me that he had set the whole thing up to get her help.Yes, I think the fact that Drake is back in prison will help Tina.
Caught me by complete surprise. Never suspected a thing.
She’s got a great husband in Damon. That should have been my first clue, when he called her nasty names after the attack. He was too devoted to have given up in that moment. I think Tina will now have the peace of mind she needs about her safety to start healing.

I didn't understand that part very well. The animosity between the father and daughter seemed misplaced. It was a great twist at the end, though.
I also didn't pick up on Tina's attack on Damon being staged. That said, I agree with Jonetta. Damon's vehement reaction should have been a clue. I mean he was obviously devoted to Tina and cared for her all those years, so I should have been more attuned to the fact that he would not have just deserted her during a very difficult and traumatic time.
