Okay, I will be adding a few extra sections to this and doing our own more random book read every month and I will be bombarding you with annoying emails and such like on what books interest you most etc?

I was going to ask if we could add a book from this series to our reading selections and now to hear it may be possible to do so, has really placed a smile on my face.
So we will still be reading a classic book on the original genre that we have selected and also include another one on a hard-boiled noir book that’s part of another genre?

Your kind words are appreciated, please do add your selection to the mix. I have a list of about ten people outwith me and Dan who I hope will be interested in definitely taking part in the group read and you are one of those :)
I am halfway through my second Noir book so if you have the time and feel you can handle 70 pages, you might find my new first one of the series of interest also?
Meanwhile, get your suggestion or two in and see how the votes go. The poll will be open on about the 15th / 16th I expect.

This section will not be constrained by publication date considerations either. Noir works ranging from Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? to Corey's Leviathan Wakes are considered fair game. We might run polls to choose books sometimes, agree by consensus other times, in our book choices. We may have a monthly book. Maybe we won't do one every month. Some months we might do two or three. Time will tell. This section will mainly be run by Douglas as Dan has his hands full with the Classic Hardboiled section. Come join the fun!
