Please keep all discussion to the events and speculation from Chapter 30 - Chapter 38.

No spoiler tags required. Though it would be highly appreciated if you uncheck Add to my Update Feed to avoid accidentally spoiling this for your good read friends.

Please do not discuss events from later chapters. Referring back to events from a previous section/book is fine.

Sky | 1291 comments Still going, love how the POV is switching multiple times in a chapter now.

Scott (thekeeblertree) | 1049 comments Liked that too. Never once felt bogged down in any of the chapters

Sky | 1291 comments Almost done, another hour...I forgot to add, after 2.75 books, I kinda like Nila instead of hating her :)

Scott (thekeeblertree) | 1049 comments She definitely grew on me too

Bill | 1596 comments I don't remember hating her but can't say I didn't. Think she is on the verge of turning into the most badass character besides the gods.

Ugh. I'll be mad if Olem or Bo die. It seems like at least one of them will though. For some reason him showing up sick made me think of Doc Holiday in the movie Tombstone.

And I was pretty indifferent towards Nila. I found her chapters slow. That hasn't been the case in this book though. I like that she's sort of fumbling her way towards badassdom.

Suzanne | 1582 comments I'm not quite done with this section, but.....I'm guessing that Ricard set up the explosion himself. It wouldn't be the first time a political candidate used tragedy to generate sympathy votes.

I'm glad that Tamas is at least getting clues that the Kez may not have broken the truce after all.

I never hated Nyla, but I'm liking her more now that she's becoming strong.

There are so many plot points that need to wrapped up. Can he do it!?

Conor | 57 comments I never hated Nila, but her parts, especially in book 1, were utterly pointless. I have no idea why McClellan even put them in given that the pacing was otherwise one of the book's strongest aspects. In this one I find her rapid leveling up to be a bit forced but her parts are way more interesting so I don't really mind.
