I read mine on audio which means I didn't have the map thats at the beginning I think it would have been very interesting to see as it is an alternate earth.

I will bite my tongue and not tell you if she does. I will say I loved this books so much a grabbed the second book and read it straight after. Now I have the 3rd book. Its killing me to hold of but I hope to get a buddy read for it if anyone likes the series.

My intent is to catch up on this series before the new book comes out in March, so I will definitely read book 3 with you, although it might take me a week or so to get there :-)

This just came to me, but I always thought of shifters being born as human and then shifting, not the other way around...
And don't worry about that not being in spoilers, it was very cryptic, so I really don't know what you meant, and it didn't ruin anything :-)

Oh no, I'm nearing the end since I read most of it on the bus ride home from school. I am loving the book so far.

Ending Thoughts: (view spoiler)[ This was an amazing read. It is worthy of a 4-5 star rating from me. I thought the story flowed and the characters added more emphasis to the story. I like Tess; however, I want to love her. I know as the series progresses that I will, but for now I like her. I still dislike Elliot, so I decided to go with a 4.75 rating as I found him annoying. Other than that, this book is a must read. I am glad that I read it. The world building was so intriguing and the concept of shifters was different in this story. It was interesting to see an alternative version of a shapeshifter story. I love Meg, Sam and Simon the most. I think they are adorable. (hide spoiler)]
