I read this around 2017-2018. I HATED the book because of the way it handled the characters. I'm making a list of books I don't recommend/are harmful to the communities.
I remember that one of them might've switched schools and then that's when they met? They also might've been in junior high. I remember the cover clearly: A profile view silhouette of a boy with it being filled with rainbow stripes. It might've been published in 2016 i want to say?
I remember it because it handled the grieving process really poorly.
