Duplicate author, different last names

This is the same author:

She used to publish under the name Marika Cobbold Hjörne but seems to have dropped her second last name. So, her name should be listed as Marika Cobbold.

I have librarian status but I'm not shure how to merge the two listings because both of them has followers.

Can someone help me, please?

We never merge longer versions of names into shorter ones, although the reverse is sometimes ok.
