Oh wow, I didn't know this was so famous or even that there's a book.. I've seen the movie years ago by coincidence and haven't yet met anyone who watched it or even knew it. I am interested in reading the book with you, this will be fun :)

I looked it up in the library, but they don't have a copy. The German translation is out of stock and will be available in 2022 again 😅 So I just ordered a paperback copy but it takes up to 3 weeks to arrive. Fingers crossed I can join you 🙈

Wowwww! I did not expect it to be THIS different. To be honest, I’m not liking it very much. And Sally, ugh damn it Sally! I’m glad this one is short. And I don’t know if I’d read any more in this series. Not if they are wrote like this one!

you may like it so I'd try it.
My library copy should be in by the end of the week, then I will jump in. Keeping my fingers crossed! I’m in that same boat of also having loved the movie.
