Fantasy book about kid that has powers and has to find siblings that are spread around the world

I read half of this book around 2010, and only vaguely remember a few details of the book, but it’s been driving me mad trying to find it ever since then. But all I do remember is there was a woman who had some doctor experiment on her, and I believe she escaped and had a child, and the child (Most likely female), has strange powers that are awakening, and she finds out she has other siblings scattered around the world that she has to search for. I believe she uses telepathic powers to find the first sibling who is in India? That’s about all I remember about the plot, but I do remember the cover was black and had a coloured shape on it? I think a blue pentagon? Apologies for such vague details.
