I read this book when around 10 years ago. The main character was a young boy. One of the distinguishing parts of the book is where people would put a needle in their brain to uploaf like movies and books. If a person did this too much they wouldn't be able to come back and lose their mind almost like they were on drugs. I'm fuzzy on the details but I think the main character was in school or academy and the world started falling apart and he left and that's all I can remember. The cover of the book had like a piece of book paper in the shape of a person on it. Thank you guys.
