Questions or problems with completed task posts will be posted here.

If you have questions about your points on the Readerboard:

1. Make sure that the Readerboard has been updated through the post that you are concerned about.
2. Please check your math.
3. Check to see if one of your posts is listed in this thread with a question. If so, please make a NEW POST in the Completed tasks thread to clear up the question. DO NOT go back and edit the original post. I will not go backwards in the completed task thread to pick up points.
4. To avoid further questions/problems, please refer to the TASK DESCRIPTIONS and The Rules of the Challenge.

Thank you for helping keep the record keeping for the challenge as manageable as possible.

Teri-K I have a Golden Oldie quesion. I show:
Message 151 Richard II by William Shakespeare
First published in 1595 for 1 GO point.
Message 185 The ABC Murders by Agatha Christie.
First published 1936 for 1 GO point.

But the leaderboard just shows one point.

Thanks!

Task 20.6, option 2 requires that you provide a reference when you post if the main character's twin status is not clearly mentioned in the book's description. A reference is a link to an outside, independent source that can be used to verify the information you are providing. References may be a link to an earlier book in the series, a review (inside or outside of Goodreads), an author's page, a Wiki, etc.

Goodreads is not allowing HTML formatting of outside links, but you should be able to copy/paste a URL into a post (I just tried it and it worked).

Requirements for Reposts can be found in the Posting Requirements.

Task 30.1 - There are no page numbers for the print edition of Before Time Runs Out.

From the Rules of the Challenge: "If information in a Goodreads record is incorrect or incomplete, you may ask a Goodreads librarian to update the record if possible. Information required for a task, such as missing print edition page numbers, should be corrected before you post."

Requirements for Reposts can be found in the Posting Requirements.

Task 5.1 - Rise of a Sky Pirate does not appear to have a print edition.

From the Rules of the Challenge: "If no print edition of a book exists on Goodreads, you MUST get the book pre-approved by a moderator in the topic "eBook verification-no print edition" in General Help. If you claim a book in Completed Tasks that exists ONLY in ebook format, you MUST provide a reference to the ebook verification document when you post ex."Approved @ line #" or provide the post number in the ebook verification thread where it was approved ex. "ebook Approved post #"

There are page numbers? Not sure if someone edited in last few days as I've only seen this issue now but they're there. Do you want me to repost this task?

Weird. I double checked during review because the others had page numbers and I thought is was strange at the time. Now that they're there, yes, could you please repost for me. It's easier for me to pick up your points and add them to the spreadsheet that way. Thanks!

Neither of the books you've posted for Task 30.3 fit the task.

Option 2 requires the first letters of each of the words in the title be found in NIGHTSWIMMING. The first letters of each word in The Snow Queen are TSQ. There is no Q in NIGHTSWIMMING.

Option 3 requires the female main character to be a police officer, detective, or private eye. Stephanie Plum is none of these. The list was solely for ideas. This is not a list task.

Task 20.3, option A requires the main character to be an active-duty military member (or veteran). The main characters in The Rose Code were not "active duty military members" - they were civilian employees, recruited to do code work "for" the military.

While reviewing this season's tasks completed, I discovered that the total tasks I have listed in my last posted task is wrong (and has been for a few days).

It appears that I got that total off when I unclaimed one task. All other figures are ok.

Do I need to do some kind of repost, or do I just adjust that figure the next time I post a task? Like I said, point totals are ok.

Task 30.1, option 2b requires you to provide evidence of setting if it is not mentioned on the book's GR main page. A ctrl+F search of the main page of The Witch of Portobello brings up neither London nor England. Please repost with a link to a source that states the setting of the book. (GRs will not let you format links, but you should be able to paste them into a post.)
