SOLVED. Fantasy - Sisters go to school after being in a faerie world and one fakes a suicide to go back. Spoilers ahead.[s]

I have read this book before but can't for the life of me remember the title

I think it's set just following WW2. There are 2 sisters and one has moved to America from England to work in the art world. The other sister goes to a boarding school that she used to go to with her sister

Turns out that they had gone to a fae world previously and stayed in a castle there and kind of Narnia'd the situation, and then came back. The younger sister in school wants to go back and is hurting herself to see the fae again and everyone thinks she's nuts. The older sister is running from it

The second half of the book is after the younger sister vomits suicide. The older one comes back to England and is trying to figure it all out and falls in love at an art museum. At a memorial at the school she figures out that her sister didn't kill herself but actually went back to the fae world

So I can tell you the whole book but not the title, and Google is just directing me to different suicide hotlines when I try to search it lol
