I'm eager to learn more about why exactly she was taken as a child and conscripted into the army. She saved the princess from an assassination attempt and so those in power have begun to notice her, although not all of them for the right reasons. (hide spoiler)]

Hey Andy, I think I'm going to set this book asides for now. I started reading it when I wasn't in the best place and now whenever I pick it back up I can't connect to the story. I feel I'll really love it in the future, as I see you did, so will hopefully return to it and enjoy it more then, instead :)
