It is funny how this group is so closed to new members even if they are temporary. They all like their place on the team and have a hard time breaking in someone new. Poor Stacey is trying to work through her personal relationship and now she is asked to give Tiffany something to do. She must feel everything is imploding on her.
The overnight stay is a good solution to more work time. They can work around the clock.
I felt bad for Stacey. With Penn out, she had double the work. On top of her personal problems at home, she has to find something for Tink to do. Lucky for her, Tink was very good at her job and was actually a great help. If it were another newbie, Stacey may have had to go back and see if Tink was actually doing her job correctly.
Tink was the comic relief!! Her response to Kim calling her Tink was great. She was a neutral person, no history, so she just rolled with the flow and she had skills. Poor Stacy has enough going on but gets Tink. My thought was, granted, she didn’t want or need a Tink but it gave her something else to focus on rather than her personal life.
I thought Tiffany/Tink was comic relief, too! I laughed out loud at all of their reactions when she first showed up. Kim thought it was a joke and Bryant was speechless. Stacey found it funny until she was assigned to her.
Kudos to Tiffany for her great attitude. She was just happy to be there and have a chance to make a contribution. And, she showed them that you can’t judge a book by the cover. She was thrilled that she made enough of an impression on Kim to warrant a nickname.
The snoring, though, was a riot. And, I agree that overnight trip freed them to put in the hours they wanted.
This was a nice change of pace in the tension.

When Tiffany aka Tink was introduced I thought it would go pear shaped. But actually her personality was the missing piece of the team. Her personality complimented and enhanced an already very effective unit. When Kim called her Tink I thought it was a bit disrespectful at first, but the way Tiffany embraced it as she felt it made her part of the team just showed that she was.
Even Stacey thought it was disrespectful but Tiffany’s reaction endeared her to me. She embraced it in the way it was intended.
I really like Tink. She is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and a team player. I also hope that we will see more of her. The fact that Kim gave her a nickname was great. It is a sign of acceptance and Tink was smart enough to see it as such. Stacey could use someone like Tink who would help her loosen up and enjoy life a bit more.

I agree with Teresa that Tink was comic relief, but I think this was also extremely difficult for Stacey because not only was she experiencing personal issues with Devon, but she also had just started getting used to the presence of Penn instead of Dawson, and now she is presented with another new face on the team that she must learn to work with.
I agree it was tough for Stacey, but Tink did help her which made it easier to address her personal issues with Devon.
