She was no longer a patient, and hadn't been his patient for a long time. There isn't anything ethically wrong with their relationship.
Nope, nothing wrong, ethically or otherwise, with their relationship. I was not bothered at all by their marriage if it worked for them.
Yeah, I suppose you gals are right. They hadn't seen each other for a long time and she reached out. Still feels a bit uncomfortable to me though. But they were happy except till the murderous brother came along!
While there was nothing ethically inappropriate in the relationship as he was no longer counseling her and a significant amount of time had passed, it still seemed a little off to me. Perhaps the issue was more the age gap and Beth obviously seeing Barry as a father figure.
