Male or female? Age?

Was this a picture book or a child's novel?

Bunny | 16 comments The school teacher was the main character, I'm fairly sure she was female, and it was a novel!

Rainbowheart | 28711 comments Were there any child characters?

Usually children's novels are told from the point of view of kids.

Bunny | 16 comments It could be the case- my memory of it is imperfect- but I thoroughly remember the schoolteacher playing a big speaking role in these letters

Sarah (sarahmlee) | 18 comments Are you sure it was a pool? I think it might be Kate Klise’s novel “Regarding the Fountain.”

Thanks, @rainbowheart. I have had this problem before where I cannot add a link to the title. Is that because I'm doing it on the mobile app?

Yes, the mobile app doesn't let you edit your header or comments.

I'd suggest switching to a mobile browser (Google Chrome, Safari, etc.). Then scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Desktop version".

YES! I am certain this is it. As soon as I saw the cover it all clicked. Thank you so much, I'll update as solved.
