I've read a few chapters and think the writing is good. Trying to finish up the book< I'm reading now and get really into it.
I am through chapter 6. I am hoping it picks up a bit now, The writing style is simple, so I am hoping the story has some meat to it.
I am just starting ch.6, so we are almost at the same spot.
I am moving very slowly along. Scott and Zelda are both a bit annoying. So immature. I hope they get more depth soon.
Good to hear you are on the slow start too. I have it here ready to pick back up, but I am just not reaching for it. I will put it on top of the pile for tonight. The weather has been too hot to do anything but swim and eat ice cream ;))

I've finished.
I liked it better once they moved to France.
How are you feeling about both of them?
I am not feeling great about either of them! I am really not liking the book, I guess I expected it to move a bit faster, as The Paris Wife did. We just got back tonight, and I am sure I will not finish this for August tag. And it may even be a DNF for me if it does not pick up soon. Sorry

I almost put it down at one point, but thought it picked up once they went to France.
