Yuri Hi, community,
Please recommend Sci-Fi cosmo opera adventure fast reading like Final Space TV Series.

I am just starting to read literature in English and it is very hard to read because of a lot of new words. Like Biology or Physics specific words. That makes me interrupt often for translation.

This is why I am looking for something easy-reading, fast-reading.

Also I am quite picky (obviously).
Perhaps, there are other Ukrainians or Russian books readers who read Henry Lion Oldie with Ойкумена or Sergei Lukyanenko with Spektrum

and my latest favourite Танець недоумка

Thanks to all in advance
Hugs :)

〰️Beth〰️ (x1f4a0bethx1f4a0) | 61 comments Michael Anderle’s Kurtherian Gambit series are paranormal science fiction with humor. His curse phrases are “creative” descriptions so I am not sure how translations would read. The first book is Death Becomes Her. There are also off shoot series that are all set in outer space but the original 21 starts on earth then they go to outer space. The web page gives the timeline and you can click on each book that deals with outer space. https://lmbpn.com/universe-timelines/...

The second link gives the timelines of the overall universe, clicking on each will show other series, many are fantasy/urban magic. https://lmbpn.com/universe-timelines/

Hope this helps. Happy Reading.

Suman Saha (suman_saha) I'm not much aware of the books and TV series you mentioned, but if you want some fast pacing adventurous space opera, read Velocity Weapon and subsequent series.

If you would like to read something adventurous by a cyborg with a unique personality, start with All Systems Red of the Murderbot diaries.

Yuri Thanks guys. 🙂
〰️Beth〰️ , looks more like mystery book about vampires but as I see on the timeline you provided - it really goes into spaces afterwards. I will give it a try.

Suman , thanks. First book looks really close to something I need. But I will try both 🙂👍🏻

Absolutely!

As for tongue-in-cheek humorous "semi-paranormal" (there are vampires, ghouls etc, but all are quite natural) try Vivian Shaw

DivaDiane SM | 3676 comments I don’t know the TV series you’re referring to but if you like Star Trek that would be my best recommendation. There are so many to choose from, but you can start with the novelizations of the movies, or Enterprise: The First Adventure by Vonda N. McIntyre, which is very good.

Also, you may like Fool's War, by Sarah Zettel,Probability Moon by Nancy Kress; and the Vorkosigan Saga starting with The Warrior's Apprentice by Lois McMaster Bujold.

Edited to add more books and links since I'm now on my Mac.
