Gareth, can you provide any more details about the nature of the dystopia (e.g., political, religious, etc.)? Can you recall why the man is being pursued? When you read it, do you have a sense of whether it was a new book at the time or an older one, and do you have any idea whether the author was famous or not? Do you recall anything about the cover, or how long/short the book was?
I think is was quite a recent book at the time. I don't recall any religious commentary in the writing. Sorry, not a lot to go on.
Sorry, i meant what kind of dystopia was it? like, was it religion-based, like The Handmaids Tale; or political, like 1984; or plague-induced, like The Stand, etc. there are lots of flavors of dystopia :) do you know why the man was being chased/hunted -- was he a criminal, a terrorist, was it a game show, etc?
