Hi does anyone know the title of the book about a girl who turns into a cat with the help of an amulet. As far as I remember her name was Cat or maybe Kat, and I think there's a bit a Romeo and Juliet theme in it as well. I think she was a great help to the cats in her neighbour making friends and enemies.
I heard the audiobook on Big Toe radio show on the old BBC7 station, but don't remember who wrote it or what it was called.

If it’s a children’s book, could it be Kitty and the Moonlight Rescue by Paula Harrison? It’s part of a series but all of the books can be read as stand-alones. The other books are:
