Looking for a children's chapter book written in the 90's or before with a main character who might have dyslexia or similar trouble with school. In the class spelling bee, he is asked to spell "cutie" and spells it "qt." Main character, I think, babysat for two kids and used to hide "dinosaur eggs" (stale marshmallows) for them to find.
