I don't remember much of the plot except that the main character is a man who dies on earth and is transported to a fantasy world where he is paired with a woman who died on earth as well. They are given new bodies based on their imagination. The man is of American Indian descent and his new body is an Conan-like American Indian who fights with a sword. The woman is some form of witch or magician. They have a quest to complete that may have continued on into a sequel or trilogy.
