Due to various issues that have arisen over the weeks, I thought it appropriate to share these comments with others in this group, so you know where I am coming from.

You may be aware that moderators in this review group are not paid but offer to do the task in order to facilitate authors receiving 4 reviews for their books each time they participate in a group. As such I do not expect any favours to be shown towards my books at all.

As a moderator of the reviews I expect and hope that all of the books are read all the way through by reviewers. This means that I also would like to see reviews of a minimum 200 to 300 words, for every book. For fiction of course there are aspects of character, prose, dialogue, pace, plotline, settings etc that may be used as a focus for the reviewer. So, it is quite disappointing when another author claims to have read, i.e. not skimmed, a book but can only include just a few words in their review.

Regards, GR versus Amazon mismatched star ratings we do not accept that different numbers of stars may be used. So if you think it has 3 stars on GR then the same should go for Amazon, and vice versa.
