The main character was a woman who started in a dungeons and dragons live action role play (LARP) as a mage her boyfriend was supposed to play too, but he ended up not being able to for some reason? She had the highest intelligence score (something about winning this in a contest?). When suddenly the LARP group was thrust into a different world, becoming their characters. She was a mage, there was a paladin... and other people. She could defy the laws of magic there since she knew alot about science. They had to fight against demons or something... i remember a part where *slight spoiler* she had to defend the city and used like a magic dome around the whole thing.... and she could , as she put it, fly like superman... even though that was forbidden magic. She also used her magic on her cells to stay eternally young? this IS a series, but the other books follow her son i think? And through the whole thing they try to find a way back to their dimension and the whole time the main female is obsessed about getting back to her boyfriend

it was an ebook, so i dont remember the cover... i read it last year. It seemed older than just last year though, like it was an older book formatted for the kindle
