Tasha That's a lot of books, Elyse! Looks like a good month with all those 4 star reads. I'm happy to see that Reckless Girls ended up being a 4 star read. I'm going to get to that one soon I hope.

Violeta 4.5 stars rounded up to 5
5 stars for the writing, I loved it
4 stars for the story

Added: 4

Oh, glad to see that you loved Violeta, Tasha!

I still need to get to Reckless Girls too. Let me know if you do get to it soon. We my be reading at the same time.

I received a widget for Blackout and am still considering it. I wasn't planning to read anything set in that time period for a while, but it sounds really good.

message 53: by Tasha (new)

Tasha That's exactly what I felt and thought about Blackout.

I'll let you know when I (eventually) get to Reckless Girls. I may do it on audio which would mean a super fast listen and possibly much sooner than later.

message 54: by Kristie (new)

Kristie | 2898 comments Mod
I've requested the audio to help me get through it faster, so it may be the same for me.

message 55: by Tasha (new)

Tasha Ok, let me know if you get it and when you start. I'll see if I can get to it at that time as well.

Tasha wrote: "Ok, let me know if you get it and when you start. I'll see if I can get to it at that time as well."

Will do. I haven't gotten a response for my request. I'm wondering if they were all on vacation last week! Hoping to hear Monday if it's approved or not, which doesn't give me much time since pub day is Tuesday.

message 58: by Tasha (new)

Tasha I don't know what I was thinking, since Pub date is Tues I'm not sure I can get my hands on a copy of the audio or book that fast! LOL

If Scrbd ends up having the book on Pub day, or soon after, count me in. If not, just go ahead and read it and I'll get to it another time. Too many books to read anyway so it's all good!

message 59: by Tasha (new)

Tasha I see my library has ordered lots of copies so I put myself on the holds list just to see, maybe I'll get it soon since they have so many copies ordered. But still don't wait for me if you want to get to it, it's totally fine.

message 60: by Kristie (new)

Kristie | 2898 comments Mod
I won't know if the audio is approved until at least Monday, so I'll be behind anyway. We'll just see how it goes.

Congrats on catching up on your reviews, Elyse!

My February was pretty pathetic. Lol I forgot to update this thread though. I will do it when I’m at my computer.

Glad to see you loved The Suite Spot! I almost grabbed that one. If it published later I would have. I’ll have to add it to my TBR.

Thereadingbell | 239 comments I highly recommend Cartwheels in the Dark it is a debut author. I really liked it the story was good to me. Some parts are predictable but the story is still really good and some shocking parts. If you have Kindle Unlimited you can read for free.
