Finished listening to this one and enjoyed it, despite narrator foibles. A fun Hallmark-esque rom-com set in the world of STEM academia. Would definitely snap up the print version if I came across it in a local LFL or used book store.
Another book towards the PopSugar Challenge, now 47/50 — only three to go. If I get to one a month Oct-Dec as planned I will actually finish! 😄

for the first time - I've seen some of the poems before on Instagram etc...have to say I'm not loving the collection, I don't get the hype!

The premise is great, and while there was a sense of potential danger, it didn’t quite create the suspense and sense of urgency that I expected during most of the book.

Overall, this is well-written and entertaining with a solid mystery and complex characters set in an off-the-grid sanctuary town that is under construction. An intriguing start quickly accelerates as the plot develops and Casey’s investigation takes off.

I hope you like it! There have been mixed reviews in the classic group discussion, but it’s been my observation that most of the people who disliked it don’t usually read books from the mystery/thriller genre. It’s definitely not cozy, but the writing was good and kept me wondering what the main character was going to do next.

Yes I saw that many years ago when it first came out Joanna. I can still remember parts of it :)
